La Torche Pro: The main event starts in very small waves

Bad surprise this morning: the swell went down in size considerably compared to yesterday.

The organizers decided to go all in and to send the riders on the water no matter what.

There are no big surprises as of now, despite the borderline conditions, since the big names of the event pass the first round without problem.

MKai Lenny, Benoit Carpentier, Zane Schweitzer, Caio Vaz, Keahi de Aboitz, Leco Salazar, Arsène Hareohe, Tama Audibert, Jérémy Massière, Peyo Lizarazu, Robin Johnston, Guillermo Cadenas, Sean Poynter, Justin Holland, Antoine Delpero et Colin Mac Philips go straight to round 4 for now.

We’ll remember the super good level of the Mexican Guillermo Cadena, who is coming from the bottom of the trials and could go far in this event!
